ENERGY SAVER REBATES NOW AVAILABLE
Minnesota homeowners who finance qualifying energy improvements through the NEC can receive a check for 35% of the costs of equipment and installation, up to $10,000! Now is the time to make major energy upgrades to your home. Install an efficient new furnace or boiler, water heater, central air conditioner, attic and wall insulation, lighting, exterior doors, and even replacement windows. Most general home improvements can be rolled into the financing package, but only energy improvements that meet program guidelines for efficiency qualify for rebates. Download and follow the steps in the NEC's Energy Saver Rebate Homeowner Guide. Find out if you qualify for a loan, then finance qualified energy improvements using a fixed interest rate Fix-Up Fund loan, or an even lower fixed interest rate Minnesota Energy Loan. Use licensed installation contractors and keep track of simple paperwork. It's a straightforward process that will have you in a more energy-efficient home with lower utility costs in no time. Rebate customers can also take advantage of generous federal tax credits and utility incentives. The NEC Loan Program staff can guide you to all applicable benefits. Energy Saver Rebates are available until funds run out. Rules and deadlines apply. All the forms you need are available for download below. Download and read the Homeowner Guide or call the NEC today to get started: (651) 221-4462 ext. 132. FOR HOMEOWNERS:
